Senior Fitness: Warm up in the multi-purpose room, strength train, then finish your workout in the multi-purpose room with a relaxing stretch. This class is appropriate for the “mature” population or those just beginning an exercise program. Aqua Aerobics & Arthritis Aqua: Non-impact class in our body soothing 84 º Olympic pool. A great class for all fitness levels and those recovering from injuries. The Arthritis Aqua class is similar to the Aqua Aerobic class but adheres to the guidelines provided by the American Arthritis Foundation. Yoga: A physical and spiritual class dedicated to improving strength and flexibility and reducing stress, while utilizing a variety of yoga styles. Core Strength & Flexibility: A combination of yoga, dance conditioning therapy, & traditional fitness, focusing on your body’s core, the abs and back. Work on flexibility, strength and balance, suitable for all levels of fitness. Pilates: Pilates uses the abdomen, lower back and buttocks as a power center, enabling the rest of the body to move freely, thus emphasizing body alignment while incorporating correct breathing. Through a series of controlled exercises performed with great concentration, all muscle groups are lengthened and strengthened; which leaves you feeling invigorated and “lifted”.
